Video journalism training

Student equipment details
It is impossible to support all the possible camera and video editing software combinations, so students must bring a camera and a laptop with working editing software. Students are responsible for making sure their system works before packing it along. You only need one system for every four people you are registering.

CAMERA: A small video camera (Or a point and shoot that can capture quality VGA video at 30FPS) A Flip camera works, but a camera with a high quality shotgun microphone will work much better.

EDITING SOFTWARE: Any of these will work: iMovie HD (Note this is not the 2008 version but an older one that allows better editing) Adobe Premier, Apple Final Cut or even Windows Movie Maker . . .
